About Jeffrey Mark Interiors

Upon graduating from Northeastern University with a B.S. in Entrepreneurship in 1988, Jeffrey French began his career in the world of luxury, fashion retailing where he developed his skills working with color and textiles and his appreciation for expert craftsmanship. For five years he developed merchandise for the men’s department at Saks Fifth Avenue, and then moved on to Bergdorf Goodman doing the same for their newly relocated and expanded men’s store. His work in this industry uniquely qualifies him to understand the needs and tastes of his customers and deliver a product that exceeds their expectations, executed with the utmost quality.

In 1995, he left the world of fashion retailing to expand his interest in building a complete personal lifestyle. He attended The Parson School of Design where he studied Interior Design. Upon completion he worked at such prestigious NYC interior design firms as Noel Jeffries and Alexandra Champlaimaud & Associates where he continued to hone his design and project management skills. He worked with clients across the globe on everything from luxury residential to large-scale commercial/hospitality projects.

In 2002, he ventured out on his own founding Jeffrey Mark Interiors where he could bring his unique experience and point of view directly to customers. Over the past ten plus years, he and his team have worked on projects from Hawaii to Montreal to South Beach, with the majority of his work in the New York metropolitan area. JMI has been honored multiple times with recognition from the American Society of Interior Designers for excellence in Interior Design. The firm has had print editorials in many major design magazines and Jeffrey has been quoted in many issues on interior design, space planning, and color theory. JMI was featured in Designed in New Jersey, A Guide to the Top 50 Interior Designers in New Jersey.
